Miller Household Update

Things are good here in the Miller household. We got a new puppy Shadow, she is a Weimaraner. As most of you know, I (Renee) grew up with Weimaraner's. My parent's had one named Fred before my twin sister and I were born. Then we had Willie and then we had Max. Not all at the same time, just through out growing up with had them. I have always wanted another Weimaraner. But last June Daniel (my husband) suprised me and brought home Rocky. I was so happy to have a puppy again. He is such a BIG, but good boy. He turned a year in March. Also in March we got Shadow from a family here at Ft. Carson that could no longer care for her. Daniel knew how bad I had wanted a Weimaraner, so we brought her home. She will be a year in September. Rocky really needed a play mate and they play so well together.
Also as most of you know Daniel is up for re-enlistment in Feb 10'. After much consideration we have decided that 10 years in the Army is enough. We are excited to announce that we will be putting our house on the market here in Colorado Springs and moving back to Houston, where will have a new home built. Dan will be joining the Houston Police Department or work with my Father and I will work with a Property Management company. Such a short time when you think about it to get everything done. We plan on having our new home built in Houston sometime after this summer.
These are just a few little updates in regards to the Miller household. Everyone have and wonderful and blessed weekend!!!

Blizzard

So last night the blizzard did hit. Thank goodness we have not gotten 20 inches on snow like the weather channel was saying. So far we have received almost 6 inches and it's still snowing. We are suppose to have snow storms throughout the rest of today. Tomorrow things should clear out. Kindof strange that we are now in Spring and having Blizzards. This winter was a MILD winter. Hardly any snow and really not too cold. But, let me tell you lastnight and today are freezing. We are at 10F and it feels like -5F. So needless to say I am home today from work because I can not made it out of the driveway. Not to mention I am dead tired because Dan's phone has been ringing since 3:50AM with his employee's calling in. Being that he is the NCOIC in the Army he is over about 25 people. Dan did have to go into work this morning because he is MILITARY and works at the hospital. They have closed the post and only authorized military personnel are being allowed on post. Hopefully he will be home by noon. I hope to get some pictures of the blizzard posted later today.

We're Blogging

Hello Family and Friends.

We are now blogging. Life is great here in Colorado. Right now I am just going to write alittle bit. At this moment it's snowing like crazy and everything is pretty much shut down. A blizzard is suppose to hit sometime around 8:30 tonight. It's nice being home with the fireplace going and relaxing. Well, I'll write more later.
